Comprised of over 60 Sales Agents, 9 Appraisers including a MAI, 5 Staff and a Courier, The Frederick Group team is a blend of diverse backgrounds offering vast personal and professional experience.  Several associates are bilingual or multilingual including Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, Romanian, French, Chinese, Mandarin, Cantonese, FuZhou and other languages.

Our History

Our Company is filled with family traditions and values that can be traced back two generations. The Frederick Group’s reputation of providing high-quality customer service can be contributed to the standards set by its founder, Donald D. Frederick.

A former farm owner, Don began his real estate career in 1969 with an evident work ethic. Initially established on a foundation of farm, land and commercial sales, The Frederick Group orchestrated several exceptional land sales bringing the first KMART to the Lehigh Valley, establishing the Lehigh Valley Hospital’s Cedar Crest Campus, land sales for the construction of Air Products in Trexlertown and Nestle in Fogelsville as well as several farm acquisitions for Jaindl Land Company.

In the 1970’s, The Frederick Group further expanded into the residential market which was strengthened through the Gallery of Homes franchise and affiliation with a national relocation company, RELO, now known as Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.

Relationship building and total quality management were essential in the growth of the company. In 1973 these qualities attracted a MAI (Member, Appraisal Institute) to The Frederick Group and the Appraisal Department was founded. In the early 1980’s, the New Home Sales Department was created and has since represented and marketed in excess of 60 New Home Communities throughout the Lehigh Valley, including UGI’s “The Hills of Devonshire” and the development of the extension of South Mall with its ancillary stores.

Through the 1980’s and 1990’s, The Frederick Group developed two “Class A” office buildings, The Paragon Centre and The Frederick Building and was instrumental in bringing the first Wegmans’ store to the Lehigh Valley. Around the same time, several sales associates joined the company which were former business owners and aided in the establishment of the Business Brokerage department.

Since 2006, The Frederick Group continues to grow under the ownership and management of Doug Frederick, son of Don Frederick. The same service-oriented philosophies dedicated to quality, service, innovation and growth which started the company continue under Doug’s guidance. Through vast internal and external resources, combined with dedicated, professional Sales Associates, Appraisers, Staff and Management, The Frederick Group offers clients and customers extensive areas of specialization and expertise to fulfill and exceed their real estate and valuation service expectations.
